Green tea - Nutty Professor

This blend transforms green tea, white tea, fruity orange and pieces of almonds and pistachios into an aromatic nutty flavour. Our tea sommelier describes this tea as: "The mild taste of the delicate composition is an intensive feast for the senses."

FRAGRANCE
Fruity, almond / nutty, creamy, and herbal smell.

TASTE
The taste of the almonds and pistachios come out strongly, interspersed with the fresh taste of green Sencha tea.

Almonds and pistachios
Scientific evidence suggests that consuming 42.5 grams of most nuts, including pistachios and almonds, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol reduces the risk of heart disease. Both almonds and pistachios contain various vitamins and minerals, including vitamin B, iron, zinc and calcium.

Catsfoot
Another special addition to this tea is the herb catsfoot, also called cudweed. In traditional medicine it was believed that this herb helped with bronchitis, liver and gallbladder complaints, hepatitis and diarrhea. The effect of this herb is not scientifically substantiated, but it is still used in alternative herbal medicine.
